Claire studied under academic scholarship at Charles Sturt University. Graduating with distinction, she was a recipient of the Dean’s Award for Academic Excellence.
Claire has worked in both the public and private sectors, where she has developed clinical interests in sporting injuries, trauma injuries and clinical pilates. She believes her diverse experience of working in major city centres to regional areas, is a credit to the physio that she is today.
Claire is an accredited Australian Physiotherapy Pilates Instructor (APPI 2014), is qualified in the effective application of trigger point dry needling (GEMT, 2016), and has completed her Australian Physiotherapy Association Level One Sports Physiotherapy course (APA 2017). Claire wishes to continue her study in the sporting world of physiotherapy and also complete the world renowned shoulder course by Lynn Watson. She will soon commence her studies for Masters of Sports Physiotherapy.
Claire comes from a competitive background of show jumping, but now chooses to dabble in triathlons, tennis and OzTag. Originally from the country, but relocating to the coast, Claire loves making the most of the stunning Newcastle coastline and adventuring around the world during her holiday breaks.
