Sophie’s clinical expertise includes the delivery of exercise interventions for the prevention and management of chronic and complex medical conditions. She enjoys treating a wide variety of conditions with a focus on putting the individuals needs first and providing a program that suits their lifestyle while providing the greatest outcomes for their health.
WHAT IS IT THAT YOU ENJOY ABOUT WORKING AT ADVANCED PHYSIO?
I enjoy having the opportunity to work with a wide range of clients with access to the most premium and up-to-date equipment. The ability to collaborate with high-level physiotherapists who have decades of experience helps me to provide the best service to our clients. I am passionate about exercise and believe everybody should move more, I love helping people discover their own passion for movement.
WHAT ADDITIONAL STUDY OR QUALIFICATIONS DO YOU HAVE?
ASCA Level 1 Strength and Conditioning, Reformer Pilates, Accredited Exercise Scientist.
WHAT CONDITIONS OR PEOPLE DO YOU HAVE A SPECIAL INTEREST IN?
I have a particular interest in neurological conditions such as Alzheimers, stroke and Parkinsons and how exercise can assist in the management and longevity of brain health. I also enjoy working with falls prevention, balance and mobility.
WHAT ARE YOUR EXTRACURRICULAR PASSIONS
Outside of work I spend most of my time exercising (big surprise). My current focus is on ultra-marathon trail running and Crossfit.
