Chris

Following a college US baseball career Chris studied physiotherapy and not surprisingly has a special  interest in shoulders and elbows. He has completed over 120 hours on these topics since starting at Advanced. Chris completed his Bachelor of Physiotherapy at Newcastle University in 2016. Prior to this, he completed an Exercise and Sports Science degree in America.

Whilst at university, Chris worked as a personal trainer focusing on strength, conditioning and rehabilitation where he worked with a number of athletes that have gone on to represent their state and Australia, as well as playing professionally overseas.

In his last year of university, Chris undertook a yearlong placement with the Newcastle Knights 1st grade squad. He has also worked as a sports trainer for a number of local soccer and AFL teams. Chris has a keen interest in sports which goes back to his own achievements earning a sporting scholarship to play baseball at college in the USA whilst studying his first degree.
