Owen is the Physio for the Jets Youth team. He has travelled internationally with them on several occasions and can be seen working with them during the week and at games. He has a special interest in lower limb injuries and has completed over 130 hours of study into the foot, ankle, knee and hip since starting at advanced.
In his last year of university, Owen was exposed to a variety of unique placements that included working in an emergency department where he. Owen comes from a sporting background playing AFL for a local team, as well as Newcastle and Northern NSW representative AFL teams. He has also has played many other ball sports growing up including cricket, basketball and tennis.

What is it that you enjoy about working at Advanced Physio?
Advanced Physio has by far the best facilities available in the region, allowing me to provide the best possible treatments to help clients meet and exceed their desired goals. I also enjoy working with a team of highly skilled and passionate physiotherapists that are always working on improving their skills and knowledge.
What ADDITIONAL STUDY OR QUALIFICATIONS DO YOU HAVE?
From December 2016 to January 2017 I completed 200 hours of training in orthopaedic excellence through the global education program provided by Medbridge.
WHAT CONDITIONS OR PEOPLE DO YOU HAVE A SPECIAL INTEREST IN?
I enjoy treating all areas of the body but have a particular interest in treating injuries of the lower limb, including sporting type injuries, Tendon Injuries and Osteoarthritis of the Knee and Hip.
What are your extracurricular passions?
You will usually find me in my spare time enjoying the outdoors either at the beach, kayaking or bike riding. I also like to keep fit by going to the gym and running.
